OrthoCarolina Damaged My Shoulder Replacement

On November 30, 2023, Mary underwent her first surgery, performed by Dr. Jason Silva at Ortho Carolina, on her right shoulder.

With recovery going well, she had her 3-month follow-up x-ray. The x-ray technician ignored Mary 3 times when her range of motion was at its limit. They continued to move her arm higher and higher. This caused an immediate onset of pain.

On December 23, 2024, she was required to have revision surgery. Loose parts in her right shoulder were found and were replaced by another surgeon at another hospital.
